Automation Technician

R L Laughlin is looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Automation Technician.

Responsibilities:

Traveling to well sites to install, repair, and calibrate gas meters
Setting up communication equipment to transmit well information to customers
Accurately billing for completed work

Successful candidates will possess the following skills:

Ability to work independently in an outdoor setting
Analytical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot
Computer skills
Familiarity with electronics and electrical systems
Mechanical skills

Qualifications:

Education - High school or equivalent
Vocational training in mechanical or electronic field is preferred
Valid driver's license required

Misc:

Travel is required, some of which will be overnight
Experience in gas measurement is not necessary - training provided

Laboratory Technician

Job opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and efficiently to fill a Lab Technician position at our Saint Clairsville, OH office.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Gas Chromatography to run Natural Gas & Liquid samples for Oil & Gas industry
Ability to follow instruction and work independently
Work at a steady pace to complete required tasks within allotted time
Maintain work flow with a high volume and quick pace environment
Ability to work hands on at all times – not a desk job
Organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills a must
Know how to navigate a computer to be able to type
